There’s no big, amazing plot that will stick with me for years to come, there’s no unique characters and there’s not even real drama, or angst to try to amp up the very simple plot I already mentioned.īUT I wouldn’t rate a book this high if it was just average.
Why? Because it doesn’t do anything great. Now that I got the PSA out of the way, let me get into this book and the actual review.įirst thing I’ll say, ( in true me fashion- because even when I’m being positive I frame it in a negative way) is that I don’t think many people will find this memorable or great or you know - 4/5 stars worthy. And as luck would have it, she did have 2 releases (this one was released on audio only back in April - but I only use audiobooks for anything that is not romance - hence the wait for the ebook) during my slump which means I could indulge, now that I was getting my mojo back.
I just knew that a Kylie Scott book would be the best thing for me.
It’s all good though, I did manage to watch more tv shows and movies than I did in the past 2 years accumulated.Īnd the great news is that I’ve slowly gotten back to it. As some of you know, I’ve been missing on here for the past couple of months because reading was the last thing I could have managed to do for some reason.
